Kind to the bees! The smooth stainless steel is gentle on their wings and won't oxidise like galvanised steel excluders.
The excluder is made from 304 grade stainless steel and is the threaded wire style.
Dimensions: 506mm x 406mm x 4mm thick.
There are two options available;
- 22mm rim all the way around
- 50mm rims on (one side of) the ends, 22mm on the sides
The 50mm rim provides much better protection against accidental damage when using a hive tool to remove the excluder from the hive.
